Members and friends, welcome to our website! We are a vibrant, friendly and varied group of almost 200 quilters and quilt artists who have been sharing quilts, talent and camaraderie for quite awhile now. We are now entering our 31st year. There are monthly meetings, most of them with special speakers, quilt related activities, show and tell, etc. We have quilt shows every other year, and lots of quilt-ins, challenges, round robins, and community service projects, along with an impressive library for our members - something for everyone! As you navigate this website, you will see some of our work, see our schedule, and share our accomplishments. If you are interested in quilting, please join us the first Thursday of the month for our Guild Meeting. We love to meet visitors and will make you feel at home!

UFO Project

REMINDER!!!!   The UFOs are coming to a guild near you. Ours to be more specific. We have been challenged to get ourselves busy and finish those quilt projects that we started. Check out the Committees page and grab the info. The pages are to be turned in at our January 5, 2012 meeting. Make sure you are not left out. How many do you have lurking in your sewing room? Your closet? Under the bed? Stashed in a box to finish later? Maybe the one you started 6 years ago is one you no longer like. Turn it into a community service quilt and finish it.

Just remember, this is a challenge to yourself. There will be others competing against the clock with you. Get ready, grab your sewing machine and your thread and get ready to quilt!

December Meeting

One corner of the wall leads to.....

The whole Wall of quilts.
Our December meeting was fun filled and a lot of sharing went on. We had our Community Service wall of quilts. These quilts are made by our members and then they are donated to various organizations around the area. We've had people ask "How much for that quilt?" when they saw them. They were amazed when we said "We don't sell these, we give them away."

We also had a Christmas block exchange. The blocks were so good, we had a really hard time trying to vote for the best one! See what you miss when you don't attend guild? These three blocks were my favorites! But there were many more.

Just think - had you participated in this block exchange, you would be on your way to making a special Christmas quilt in which your friends had all helped. Come join us next year for this fun event.
